All new employers and employers crossing the 100-participant threshold have Form 5500 project pages.
2024 enrollment guides are provided.
Schedule A Trackers are complete and accurate.
Employer contacts in the Form 5500 Interview are accurate.
Second follow up or project status email goes out from ERISAfire to account teams with employer day-to-day contact cc’d.

June:
To Avoid Extensions: By June 10, ERISAfire should have all Schedules A, enrollment guides, plan documents and participant counts.
5500 drafts sent to the account team for optional review. “Form 5500 Ready for Review” email also directs to the project page where there are drafting notes, clarifying questions and compliance findings.
PRO TIP: “Ready for Signature” email goes to the employer's signer 14 days after the review email is sent to the account team.
July:
Bulk of 5500s go to employers for signatures; completed filings filed with DOL.
Extensions filed. Extensions subject to $50 fee.
August:
Final documents stage: Submitted Form 5500, filing confirmation and summary annual report (SAR) are uploaded to project page with email alert to employer.
